Amiga Games for BlackBerry Devices

Seattle, WA – September 21, 2012 - Amiga, Inc. and Cloanto entered into a license agreement to make available Amiga games on Research in Motion devices.

As the holders of the Commodore/Amiga copyrights for works up to 1993 and of a previous exclusivity on Amiga emulation, Cloanto granted to Amiga, Inc. a license to publish, advertise, promote, distribute, market and sell Amiga game applications employing Amiga emulation software.

The license is limited to Research in Motion devices ("BlackBerry", "Research in Motion" and "RIM" brands) and is initially valid for 24 months.

"These have been challenging years for Amiga," said Cloanto's Mike Battilana. "While others were staging or funding attacks against Amiga, we are grateful for having been able to always work by the side of all Commodore/Amiga companies since the 1980s. We will continue to celebrate and support Amiga, and we wish Amiga, Inc. all the best for these BlackBerry releases."
