Software Director makes it possible to manually or automatically check for, and install, updates related to the following software packages, components and add-ons:
The use of this tool, entirely developed by Cloanto, makes it possible to share code and minimize checks for updates. It also allows to keep offering updates to the update mechanism itself, while the main package may be several years old (e.g. if using an old Amiga Forever CD). Automatic checks for updates can be enabled or disabled from the Help/About dialog of Amiga Forever and C64 Forever, and from within Software Director. Both interfaces also allow to include beta versions in the checks. Additional support information: |
